Recreational Classes (Gymnastics)

For school aged children between 4-14 years.

Following a ten minute warm up at the beginning of the session, gymnasts will spend time on various equipment stationed around the gym and on the balcony, which has been set up in a way that the gymnasts can be active whilst the coach instructs and supports.

All gymnasts will work towards achieving new skills whilst developing their strength, flexibility and confidence. Over the eight week term, the gymnasts work through a programme of core skills on vault, bars, beam and floor.

The programme is progressive, so allows them over each term to excel in their stronger areas and steadily build a skills in their weaker areas. Some gymnasts continue in our 1hr classes for their full gymnastics career, others after a year or more progress to our 2hr classes.

Classes are mixed age and ability.

Recreational Classes (Trampolining)

For school aged children between 6-14 years.

Following a five minute warm up at the beginning of the session, gymnasts will spend time on the trampoline and around the side of the trampoline.

They will work skills such as jumping shapes, seat drops, turning jumps etc. and will move onto somersaults once they have the prerequisite preparations for the skill mastered.

Classes are mixed age and ability with a maximum of eight participants per class.

Class Times and Prices

Gymnastics

Monday to Friday - 4:15pm-5:15pm, 5:30pm-6:30pm, 6:45pm-7:45pm

Saturday - 9:00am-10:00am, 10:15am-11:15am

Trampolining

Monday - 7:00pm-8:00pm

Wednesday - 5:15pm-6.15pm

Classes run in 8 week terms and cost £64 + an annual British Gymnastics/Club/Suffolk/East membership fee of £32 which runs for one full year from the 1st of the month in which you first registered.

Spaces are generally released every eight weeks.
